Prayer for Sanctification: “Heavenly Father, I know that I am a Christian and I truly want to serve You with all my heart and live holy and pure as you demand.  Yet I still struggle with sinful desires and self will.  I want to end this struggle by fully surrendering myself to Your will and Your way.  Take my sinful nature and fill me to overflowing with Your Spirit and empower me to live the holy life you delight in and I so greatly desire.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for Healing:

Personal: “Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your love and Your grace.  I thank You for saving me from my sins and giving me the hope of heaven.  I come to you now trusting and believing that You can heal my body and make me whole again.  I know You can heal by Your divine touch or through the use of doctors and medicines.  Heal me according to your will and design.  I want Your will to be done in my life and I praise you for all of the blessings You bring my way.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

For Others: “Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your love and Your Grace.  I thank You for how You have worked mightily in my life and I ask you now to help ____________ in his/her time of need.  Your Word reminds us that You can and do heal and I ask you to heal __________ in the way You think best.  May Your will be done.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for Hope and Assurance: “Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your many blessings in my life.  You have been so good to me.  And now I need you to give me hope and encouragement in this present situation.  I know that I belong to You and that You will take care of me in whatever I face.  I put all of my faith and hopes in You.  Thank You for your love and the future that You hold in Your capable hands.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.”

Prayer for help with Family Struggles: “Heavenly Father, I thank You for your love and how you always help me in my life.  You have been so very good to me.  But I am having some family struggles that I don’t know how to deal with and I need Your help.  I know You can help me and I trust You and the results of Your assistance.  Give me wisdom to know what to say and what to do.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for help overcoming Temptation: “Heavenly Father, thank You for my salvation.  You have delivered me from my sins and forgiven me and for this I am grateful.  But Lord, I am faces with things right now that are tempting me in great ways.   I know the Devil is luring me into these things but I want to remain faithful to You and not give into temptation.  Help me, by Your Spirit, to overcome this temptation and to remain true.  Thank You for your overcoming power.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for help overcoming Fear: “Heavenly Father, I thank You for the peace you give and I need that peace now.  I a facing some things that bring me fear and anxiety and I don’t know how to deal with them.  I need your peace and love to help me overcome this fear.  Help me to know that You are with me, and that by trusting in You my fears will vanish.  Thank You for delivering me from my fears.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for help with Financial matters: “Heavenly Father, I thank You for how You have blessed me.  I am being faithful with my tithe and responsible with my financial decisions but I am faced with financial matters that I need Your help with.  I don’t know what to do or where to turn.  Help me to find the answer I need in this important issue.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for Guidance and Direction: “Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me and directing me to You and the salvation You bring.  I am learning more and more to trust You and Your guidance.  And I need that guidance and direction now.  I am facing quite a dilemma and I need You to show me the way.  I know that You will direct me as I seek You and Your way for me.  Thank You for you leadership in this matter.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”

Prayer for Unspoken Concerns: “Heavenly Father, I thank You for always hearing my prayers and answering them according to Your will and in Your way.  I bring you now a need that I wouldn’t feel comfortable mentioning out loud.  You know my thoughts and my needs.  You know this matter that occupies my mind at this time.  Help me in this situation and meet my need as I put my trust in You.  Thank You for helping me once again.  In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.”
